Well…I'm not exactly sure why anyone would want to know about me. I'm not all that exciting, but I suppose it's okay. I can tell you a bit.

I guess I've pretty much always wanted to be a cop, ever since I was a kid. My dad was a cop. He was killed in the line of duty when I was only 11 years old. Anyhow, that was pretty tough, but my mom did a good job raising me and my two sisters. My mom really wanted me to go to law school. I was accepted to Fordham, and I really thought I was going to go there, but the desire to be a cop was just too strong and I wanted to at least try it out. That was six years ago and I'm still here, wearing the blue uniform, patrolling the streets.

My partner on the force is John Sullivan, but everyone just calls him Sully. Ironically enough, he was also my dad's partner. Sully's a bit gruff, but he's a great guy. His wife, Tatiana, was killed not too long ago and he's been drinking quite a bit. I've been trying to help him through things. Just recently, Bosco and I brought Sully to this cabin out in the woods to dry out. He had a rough time and said some pretty harsh stuff. Anyhow, I really hope it did some good and that he'll be able to turn himself around.

I really like being a cop. I mean it's had some bad moments, but lots of good ones too. There was this one time that a little girl wandered off after a car accident. Sully and I were cruising along looking for her and I spotted her. It was a pretty incredible feeling to find her safe and sound and to be able to bring her back to her family. Then there was the time I rescued a reporter who was in a helicopter that crashed into the water. Everyone said I was a hero and I've got to admit, that was pretty cool. I guess any time we help someone is a high point for me.

There have been plenty of bad times too though. The time I shot a man who I mistakenly thought was going to shoot Sully was a really low moment. He ended up paralyzed and I had some serious thoughts about quitting the force. Then, not too long ago, I was forced to play chauffer to this big shot on the force, Officer Hancock. That really sucked and I was glad when I finally got away from him and could go back to working with Sully. I guess the worst thing that happened was when I got shot. Sully blamed himself and truthfully when it happened, I blamed Sully too. I don't anymore though and I'm trying to get Sully not to blame himself either.

As far as my personal life goes, I already mentioned my mom and two sisters. Well, truth is I have another sister too, a half-sister. I didn't even know about her until a couple of years ago. My father had a whole secret life with another woman and that's how this sister came to be. I wasn't too happy when I found out, especially because it seems everyone knew about her except me. My family knew, hell even Sully knew. It's not much fun to be the one person left in the dark, but I got through it.

I share an apartment with Carlos Nieto. We get along pretty well. As for dating, I've had my share of girlfriends, but nothing really serious. My longest recent relationship was with Alex. Her dad was killed on 9-11 and we sort of developed a bond in that both our fathers were killed in the line of duty. Things changed after I got shot though. I'm not really sure exactly why, but I started distancing myself from her when it happened. Maybe I was just scared. Anyhow, there's no one special in my life right now.

I guess that's about all I can tell you. I'm basically just a guy who's a cop, trying to do the right thing. If anything major comes up that you should know about, I'll be sure to let you know.
